yesterday was the first day of a brand new term. we ended up skipping lecture (not compulsory) n' went to the city. had es teler n' shopped for some asian grocerries. i slept over at ling's last night. didnt occur to me before this but come to think of it, since the start of this yr, it has almost become a coincidentally-made-up-tradition* that ling n' i sleep over at each others' places, on the first day of sch. been heaps ages since i came over and i thot, hrmm. about time i re-instated my presence in my "2nd-home". haha. recall last semester. exam period. ling, jean n i lost our sense of time! we'd watch vcd's to destress. go to safeway to groccery-shop at the strangest times. we studied day n' night, with maybe 1-2hrs sleep ocassionally, for that one exam. as much as tt still feels like a nightmare, those times were perhaps, the best moments of this yr. truly.
today. i zonked off before midnight last night but still woke up considerably late. weird. extremely tired for no reason. met ily as we were heading for the shuttle bus earlier today. she must've been carrying a dozen books. ah. assignment period. suddenly the library becomes the popular venue. ha! i just discovered that my abnormal essay is due next wk. i dont know what i'd do if i dont have friends like ling. ily. pc. alice to keep me updated! snapoutkins!
