back to PINK! got u worried for a moment there aye? GREEN!
ha. the past day has been AWESOME!

-THE FAMILY TRADITION-
i woke up at 7-ish to solat n' then wave pa n' kals off for their solat raya.
had break-one with mama n' we talked about stuff. heat up the food and all.
showered and wore our "home" kurung while waiting for the boys to come home.
pa n' kal came home at 11-ish. late becoz pa is part of the "qarya" so helped to clean up.
then, it was tt solemn silent moment...................................
as papa recited the customary quranic verses on behalf of all of us
in saying gdbye to the purest mth of ramadhan
n' welcoming the special mth of syawal!
then it was on to the forgive n' forget session..
kal went on his knees before me; as ma went on her knees before papa.
its always a solemn, overwhelming session but this yr.. its beautiful! MORE!
i bawled my eyes out when i minta maaf with papa,
{{speaking in full malay btw! which i practiced like mad before!}}
with mama it was overwhelming. she is my best friend. and my best enemy! but our rship has evolved so much! n' tt so much? whoah. i shant even start!

i am proud of my family in tt we keep our traditions. not many of my friends have this annually. to sit in silence for tt few moments and reflect together how the past yr has treated us. to formally properly beg for forgiveness n' tt first breakfast with our slates wiped clean. i hope insyaAllah tt, one day when i have my own family, i'd contd this tradition too.

THE VISITS! we didnt stray out of woodlands/ marsiling!
spent the most time at nyai kas' place n' then off to yayi jumari's! n' so onnn..
of course since all my nyais live a blk or two apart.
its the overdose of raya songs. THE FOOD! THE FOOD!
met up with the estranged. the strange n' cruised w' the familiar.
the estranged of course my extended family. the nyai's sisters' kids' kids.
the strange-[funny]. no punk'd this yr. my nyais are smarter this yr to not have fallen into wak jo's trap!
the familiar - my immediate family. i love them so much! OUR new car!. whoah. stylo-MILO! heheh.
its the BABY BOOM for my family n' the place is crawling with the lil ones. and oOH! THEY ARE SO ADORABLE! i know this is silly but tis is my dedication to them: cos i love love love love them all!!!!!
shakirin the "big sister" who was naively bullied by our serial crazy-nyai {{nyai yah}} into believing we're going to the swimming pool 'afterwards'. so kesian! sigh* nyai yah and her antics - teasing kids until they cry!
hakim! - he's soooo handsome! albeit at a mere age of 18 mths? {{or less?}} but he's so handsome! like fair n' eurasian-ish. fuyooohh.. heartbreaker in the making!
anisah - she was asleep so.. BUT, apparently, she is an active member of the terror squad. nono. not the one with fat joe singing "lean back"!!!
arisah! - the active "gelitis" one. whoah! she "cleans" up everything!! i mean clean everything OFF the table. u know - push everything onto the floor kind of "cleaning". shweett!*
khairi- is the fourth of the infamous atan-ita clan. he was aslp. so. urmm.. yeps!

hehe. it's so cool tt they're possible the "us" in their parents' wedding, at OUR weddings!.. the playgrnd is theirs! its a cycle of life. of course i caught up with the bibiks. and my blooper for farah's surprise was much delved into! hahaha.. but hey ruzi let the cat out of the bag to sabrina too!!!! HAHAHAH.. it runs in the family! nonetheless, IM STILL SORRY FARAH! =/

i dont know what we're up to today.
it was ma's side yesterday. so i suppose today's on to pa's side.
more cousins. more food. more jokes. MORE LIFE!
i love this life. i know ive over-said it perhaps. but really really awesome to be home!
ITS NEVER QUIET - in a "good" way! =)
i feel "stuffed" from yesterday's delicacies!
but believe it or not, im STILL craving for more lepats right now!!
ok imma go n' scout the kitchen for breaky!!!!
