tonight, sleep is far and dancing and my eyes won't shut because you have taken the mask i used to let me-self wear. so maybe loneliness was already starting to nibble bits off me; but i feel u saving me. the future is sometimes too beautiful to think about. as is when you're musing about love fleetingly over bowls of coffee. although you could take me forward 20 years and still your name would fall as fluidly from my lips. its funny because i see everyone making up bits and pieces of you. with a turn on the hand i find myself desperately grabbing at the few handholds i have left, a tug at the insides screaming, screaming, only to fall to silence. this passing that does not remain in my story. insignificant. only, all in a heap turning into mud and i still don't know what i'd rather choose.
but tonight the stars are letters i write to you and i hold up the sky only to find that there are no stars, only black and the darkest shades of grey that remain unchanged and glued to the spot; they are lost, burning, fleeting.

p/s: more updates on the bbq parties in LF with the enon-gang when ive gotten the awesome pixes from shila. tonight's bbq w' the juadi-clan was ...alright. to be honest, bbq kinda losses its fun-ness, one, when its the second one u had in a wk, two, when hanging upside down from the monkey bars n' sliding face down on the slide, became uncool. lastly, three, i was in charge of making jugs after jugs of tea n' coffee for the makciks and pakciks. how fun. oh the dire job of being the anak dara sulung of the hse. =/
