honky tonky kinny back in melby is whoopi happy! i know. spastic linguistics but it's so utterly and completely yoodley-doo man! everything's coppersatic and i'm just walking around like it's my brithday today - excited and exhilirated at anything and everything! pre-flight dinner with yours truly was perfeKtion (thankiew hunybunny). flight laterwards was smooth sailing. stars were a touch away and i was a lil girl again - renewed. sheesh! it isn't like i have "happening" plans back to back but just ... familiar.

so, first day back saw the mama, the cool aunt, my papa and i at dandenong market to do massive grocerry shopping. i know, sounds like a total letdown for an apparently happening first day. but not here man! 50kg of potatoes for $5! a carton of mangoes for $10! shirts for crazy $3. accessories! multi coloured socks!! crazy white man screaming bargains. sheesh* im grinning to myself even now thinking of my market-experience. uncle steve bestowed in my hands a digicam. so i went crazy with taking shots at everything and anything. by the end of 4 hours of groccery shopping, our trolleycart was up to the brim! with veggies and fruits of just about every kind! of course, being typically singaporeans that didn't stop us ... ! t'was the meat section last. of course, the halal meat store, manned by middle eastern folks - they were nice and remembered me! i just wanted to hug them all.
aside from everything, the cold. the cold - brain freeze! its flippin 10 degrees now and i can make an 'O' when i blow into the cold air. tomorrow, wakImah's bringing us around. sight-seeing and shitte. so yay* cant' wait for that. but for now, i gotta help the ma and the aunt cook. the two best culinary experts (by my book anyways), tog in one kitchen - food galore tonight! on top of that, the cousins are coming home and we gona have a blast movie nighting. coffee dates with just about everyone and then, there's the yarra river to walk along and reminice days of old past.
