my lips don't lie.

We live a race against, and with time on this dimensional space we call Earth, let alone the universe. All this and more based on a foundation of the very famous theory of relativity. Kudos Einstein et. al! These days, the problems we are faced with and have been faced with are stalked by "pride", the new ripper of our fate. "Selfishness" could easily be one of them but I excuse that as part of the intrinsic traits of survival, and I admit that to some extent we can call them bastards, arseholes, whatever. It's hard, because they just can't help it.

At the end of the day, it all boils down to this: that we seem to have evolved into the badly behaved child with cancerous genes. Because the common idea of the world being a playground for adults has apparently been taken quite seriously by some, and some kids choose not to play well with others. Instead they rather sit down sulking with their face in their hands, while some others weed their fingers through the sand to look for ants and hope to discover something new. Some just enjoy the feeling of the sand running through their fingers and are so happy they run and scream and throw it at others. But we all share things in common like the need for entertainment. We're all thrill seekers by nature! We all want to be understood and we are all sad or shun away when we're not or are unfairly judged, or we seek the thrill of not being understood because there is thrill in misery itself. Most of all, without sounding like a tree hugger, we all need to feel loved upon loving. We need uderstanding, and support. I would like to have all that and more... and by more, I mean happiness being an 'inside job'.

Today, I read statistics like nothing happened. Clicking and upon request, within mere minutes of data feed, foresee and executed probability analysis on every possible outcome of any potential thinking behaviour can be computed even before they are even considered. And, on the MRT ride home, when we let our eyes meet, we read these stories that we are never brave enough to speak of. It seems to me, that more and more the case, people react only to the superficial, the ephemereal, digital images, deragatory remarks and in the absence of necessary words, silence. Tragic that "hypocrisy" seems more and more everybody's truth these days.
