The Girl in Times Square
There are three parts to me that I know of - the person who speaks aloud and the person who speaks within. The third is the most deadly but I know she exists. She lies such that both honesty and dishonesty is a fabrication and the truth is but a myth. It is better this way, she tells me, because honesty is not a virtue but a sin to loneliness. The truth garners enemies of incredible vastness, it is impossible to imagine yet such fidelity is celebrated. Keep your lies closer than your enemies and you will find there will be joy, albeit counterfeit. White or otherwise, they save lives for there is nothing more deadly than honesty.
