HALO! its MY BIRTHDAY! weEeeeeEE* =) alright. so its a cloudy day, not exactly the summery-day i'd hope, i still have the sniffle BUT HEY! its my 20th bday!!! so now i gotta change "my age" on my brief profile --> there on the right; to 20yrs old! hrm. strange. hehe! well, i just wanna thank all the well wishers! for making my day!!! - [in order of their wishes] - THANKiEYOUS-HUGS-N-KiSSES-tO: diyar n' izah [they did a countdown on msn n' i wasnt there, so technically they are the first! =)], crystal, lings, farah, danie, umar, nelle, rasul, mudd, ming, dee, ain, lyz, ahmad, abang, kal, peter. thankieyou. thankieyou. thankieyou. thankieyou! its awesome in a mind blowing, supernatural, supercalifragilistic, euber-euber way to have ANGELS like all of youS in my life! muacks* to one n' all!! =)

its amazing to look back to previous bdays; what the focal points of life then were ... the hubs to live through to get to where i am now! sadly, i cannot remember every single bday. but here's a sorta re-cap of the ones i remember n' will NEVER forget!

i spent my 6th bday induced with tubes for ventolin n spent the next few yrs admitted in the hospital every mth. the night before i'd died for abit n' woke up in the ambulance! tt was awesome. alexandra hosp was my playgrnd - even made a 'ghost' friend there too! - a british man in white uniform; always playing with us at the dining hall! freaky! but of course being 6, it was perfectly normal! at tt time, it felt like my life revolved arnd just the hospital, arnd not being able to consume any cold drinks, ice cream included, everything revolved arnd getting better. come to think of it, i've always been an expensive kid! man-oh-man! =/

by my 10th bday, thanks to ma's conscientiousness and taking care of my diet, i was cured from asthma. mildly. n' somewhen; i dont know when, i could eat ice creams instead of watching kal eat his n' i only had the waffle cone! 10th bday was at my favourite paradise-suburb pasir ris. i loved our house, my new school, my friends. i got a hair dryer from ma n' pa which got spoiled immediately! haha. ma made steak; cik saemah n' family came to celebrate ma n' pa's wedding anivessary, my bday n' their daughter's bday!

i often get my 15th n' 16th bday mixed up [maybe coz i celebrated em with the same peeps]. on my 15th bday, ma got me a baby-G watch which i loved n' wore everyday for the rest of my sec sch and trinity college life. dee made me a box of "essentials"; 15 hershey kisses, n' lil knick knacks! anna gave me a teddy bear, din gave me a teddy bear-ish bag. thomas made me a bookmark which i still have! on my 16th bday, i had a urmm. a sort-of-bf in school. we kinda ermm.. celebrated our bdays on the 23rd since his was on the 22nd and mine on the 24th. i believe that was the first time in history i received a flower from a guy! awesome-ness =)

my 17th bday i came home to singapore for my bday! =) of course then, i had a bf n' we watched "a knight's tale". i received TWO watches; from my parents AND bf-then! hehe. i wore BOTH together!!! tt was my last bday at home!

my 18th bday was quite sad. i started hating bdaYS then. i think it was coz of what was happening at "home", being away from home, n' just loneliness. =/ i got a wallet, two teddy bears, a ticket to a musical, n' some money from mumsey, abg n' danie. my 19th bday, i spent the day with ps* n' i reckon, i had an awesome time! hehe. got a discman, diyar sent a customized shirt, mumsy sent me a diary, ling gave me a bodyshop set, ahmad gave me a rattan trunk to keep my countless diaries. watched "finding nemo". hehe.

i love birthdays for as long as i remember! i love the tradition we had in our family - we'd have a massive dinner on the eve. regardless whether its us kids, or one of the parents, the anticipation to the birthday is celebrated so tt it'll feel like ur the most special person on earth for those two days: "the-day-before-ur-bday" because ur bday is linked with a close quintessence of the future such as "tomorrow", and of course the day itself; ur the most celebrated person! or i felt like it anyways!!! =)

D n' i are talkin about who knows who the longest! for me, the winner is of course dee; diyar is second, then ain, izah, n' erm.. all the qihua-ians! i love em sooooo much! muacks* muacks* muacks* mannss... to remember old days is awesome. this is 'love' at a whole new level - we've possibly seen each other thru almost all the weirdest phases in our adolescents, our bizzare antics prepubescent times! and we're gona be adults next yr! oh! and isnt it scary, the future of business, science, medicine, education, economy etc etc are all in our hands!!!!??? how freaky is tt? well, i know this sounds really sadistic, but i really hope it'll be a stressful crazy world one day [if it already isnt?!], so i have a job! evil luffs* MUAHAHAHAH!

alright, i know im being long winded. and swaying back to my customary long-entries-habit once again. hehe. but hey its my bday! have i mentioned its my bday!? oh yeah! its my bday today. ok ok. soooo...

Got this idea from Nelle on her bday. Hehe. i think its an awesome idea; to somewhat recap ur year. so, forgetful ppl like mmE and urm meee dont forget. so here i go! Why I wanna remember my 19th year:

- the first time I came back to Melbourne a good 2 weeks before uni commenced.
- The "Kensington-story" dies with its remaining two's break-up.
- my perception towards love is less fairy tale-ish. more realistic n' more grounded.
- Moved 4-5 times in the first sem. Record!! Tiring. Depressing. def a relief to finally move here.
- Got to know the crew! - Rasul, Umar, Farid, Sham - they've been awesome brothers!
- Became closer to abang. He gave me advices on relationship and finally got me to see beyond my heartbreak to see tt it was not worth it to be miserable over him.
- sat thru n' survived MARLIES' classes. i FINALLY passed bio!
- The birth AND sadly, death of KL2Love. became super close with ling n' liu.
- Candy's name became stuck as 'ling'. Haha. we became best friends. Almost inseparable.
- Kal visited me! THE FIRST TIME I had a guest from Singapore! =) MY VERY own guest!
- The first time I went clubbing. i was quite the party-girl.
- I realized I lose my identity each time I get into a rship. I don't trust myself now. but working on it! =)
- I evolved from being 'the ungrateful rebel' to being 'the old me' again.
- I cannot remember an argument with kal this yr. I would like to think we became closer. love you lil bro!!
- The first time ever had a primary school gathering n' met up with diyar, izah, azfidah, rifaie, zul ain, and yazif.
- Diyar n' I became 'real' best friends, officially – after 10 yrs of friendship. Haha.
- The first time ever had an NPCC gathering. Only 4 turned up though. Saddening.
- I passed my L's. FINALLY.
- today 240904 marks my last 50 days to going bk for good!
